Job Description

The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a part-time (50% FTE) Coordinator, Student Professional and Industry Experience.

The incumbent will cultivate relationships with employers to generate career employment and internship opportunities for UNR students, as well as coordinating career fairs, employer panels, and professional experience programs on and off campus. The coordinator focuses on expanding connections between employers and students, including increasing student engagement with recruitment tools and providing consultation to employers. The coordinator implements and assesses programs and activities designed to assist University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) students in identifying employment interests and opportunities within the context of the global economy. The position is engaged in continuous assessment of student outcomes to ensure effectiveness of professional experience programming.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and one year of relevant work experience (recruiting, career education/development, higher education administration or related field) or Master’s Degree.
