Job Description

The College of Business at the University of Nevada, Reno is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Finance for an appointment beginning 7/1/18. Finance faculty members are expected to actively engage in high quality research. Preference will be given to candidates with research interest in Risk Management and Insurance. Primary teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses in Insurance and Risk Management. Candidate will also be expected to teach in other areas as and when required.

Required Qualifications

A Ph.D. in Finance from an AACSB accredited institution is required by the time of appointment. The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellence in research and teaching.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who possess strong interpersonal skills and relevant work experience.
