The Multimedia Specialist (Specialist) is responsible for developing engaging digital content in the form of promotional videos, product photography, presentations and other multimedia applications that are consistent with the UNR Med brand support the school priorities and Advancement and Engagement initiatives. The Specialist promotes UNR Med and tells the UNR Med story through the highest level of video, photography and other visual assets, ranging from quick turnaround photos and videos for social media to highly produced pieces in support of major communications and marketing initiatives.
Reporting to the Creative Director, the Specialist provides creative and technical video and photography consultation to members of UNR Med, executive leadership and other campus constituents. The Specialist develops multimedia communications that is featured on social media channels, in print, on med.unr.edu, including the homepage and at UNR Med major events. The position works cooperatively with all members of the Advancement and Engagement team, faculty and staff to integrate multimedia content into a variety of communication channels.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma and four years related work experience
or
Bachelor’s Degree and two years related work experience
or
Master’s Degree and one year of related work experience.

Relevant Experience: multimedia design, video creation, editing software, marketing, communication

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of:
• Video and photo conception and production
• Organizational branding principles and practices
