Job Description

The Manager, Business Operations manages the business, staffing, programs, and daily operations of the Office of Academic Affairs (OAA or Office) and works collaboratively with the Office of Operations and Financial Services within the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med). The Manager evaluates and develops policies, work processes, and procedures for optimal delivery of academic affairs initiatives; assists with policy and bylaw formation; develops internal and external communications materials; assists in the creation of new clinical departments; and works on special projects. The incumbent also supervises classified staff responsible for performing a variety of job duties including database management, executive assistance to the Executive Associate Dean, and fiscal management.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree: two years of relevant work experience
Master’s Degree: One year of relevant work experience

Related experience: business operations; office management; higher education; human resources; financial accounting; medical education
