Job Description

The Las Vegas Office of Academic Affairs is recruiting for two temporary hourly positions. The primary function of these positions is to complete a variety of administrative tasks while greeting visitors and directing phone calls. Tasks are outlined below, and others may be assigned as needed:

-Front desk greeting and phones
-Various duties assigned by Student Affairs or Office of Medical Education
-Print meeting materials for OME and ASA
-Educational space scheduling
-OME/OAA travel booking
-OME/OAA travel claims

The positions are part-time, typically Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Office is near University Medical Center.

Required Qualifications

-Ability to speak English clearly and interact professionally with callers, students, faculty, and co-workers

-Ability to accurately transfer calls

-Recent experience using computers and email in a business setting

-Recent experience using a multi-function high-capacity copier

-Current Nevada driver’s license

-High school diploma or GED
